How we handle your information
Linden Hof Limited, Nairobi, Kenya ("we") is responsible for the personal data you share with us through this website, by email, by phone or on WhatsApp. We handle it in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
- What you enter in the enquiry form: your name, email, phone number, organisation, role, project and message
- What you send us directly, such as emails, messages and project documents
- Basic technical data about your visit (such as pages viewed and device type), collected by our website platform to keep the site working and to count visits
The calculators on our Toolkit page run in your browser. We do not receive what you enter there.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal, at your request
- To deliver work you engage us for, under our agreement with you
- To keep the business records the law requires
We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to marketing lists without asking.
Who else handles it
Our website and enquiry form run on Wix, which stores the data on our behalf, including on servers outside Kenya, with safeguards in its terms. Project documents are shared with specialist partners only when the work needs it, with your agreement and under confidentiality terms. The text fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your device's IP address when a page loads.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within two years. Records of work we carry out are kept for as long as Kenyan law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Email advisory@linden.co.ke and we will respond within the time the law allows. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya.
